The Nigerian Army on December 14, 2013, made
another huge success in counterterrorism against against the Boko Haram
insurgents with the recent killing of about 25 of the gunmen in a clash with
the troops of the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in the Ngauramari area of
Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
A senior Army officer on Friday said the military in its
avowed effort to make the forthcoming holidays peaceful and violence-free will
continue to confront the insurgents until they are flushed out of their
hideouts in the area.
