Jose Maria Del Nido has been in charge of the club during
its golden period
Sevilla FC President Jose Maria Del Nido has been sentenced
to seven years in prison for embezzlement.
Sources say the 56-year-old who was one of the main
architects of Sevilla's domestic and European success between 2004 and 2010 who
was found guilty of embezzlement and perversion of justice.
Though he was found guilty 2011 but appealed to the
Supreme Court who now upheld the sentence.
