Tottenham Hotspur sacked Portuguese manager André Villas-Boas,
He was sacked due to the humiliating 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
"The club can announce that agreement has been reached
with head coach, Andre Villas-Boas, for the termination of his services,"
read a statement on the Tottenham website. "The decision was by mutual consent
and in the interests of all parties."
Villas-Boas, has been managing the London Club since July
2012 and has led the club to fifth place in the last Premier
League season.
Villas-Boas's dismissal represents incompetence as this the second consecutive
failure, in a London club as he was sacked by Chelsea in March 2012 after only nine
months at the helm.
