Two Uk Based Nigerians busted for internet scam

Aderoju Bammeke, 22, and his girlfriend Jessica Ogunyemi, 20, are Nigerians based in Manchester, United Kingdom.  They have been jailed by a Crown Court for their role in a Nigerian inspired internet banking scam which would have fetched them £19million after hacking accounts of nearly 2,500 people.
Bammeke and his girlfriend Jessica are the UK ‘platform’ for a Nigerian ‘Publishing’ scam that made £41,000 within two months.

A gang based in Nigeria is said to be behind the plot. According to reports, emails are sent to recipient telling them their accounts have been hacked and ask them to complete a form with their login detail.
“But when victims obliged, Bammeke stepped in and helped the gang log in to steal money.

“Fashion marketing student Ogunyemi, his girlfriend at the time, helped him launder the proceeds by putting funds in accounts, hiding cash and allowing him to buy her a £2,400 Vauxhall Corsa.

Quick Money... takes you no where.
